 Kingdom of werewolves episode 2

Episod 2

After midnight, the rain fell heavily outside the house, gray clouds covered the sky of the village and the rain flooded the roofs and roads.

The rain hit the glass windows of the house like a symphony of Lestikovski, and the croaking of the frogs rose like a hateful and pessimistic choir.

I pressed on the bundle of clothes and dragged myself from the kitchen to the door of the house, I opened the door and looked at the empty road and then I heard her screams, our neighbor who lives alone, as if the past repeated itself, I remembered the night when my parents were killed and how no one helped me until sunrise

And I asked myself, Peri? Does our kind neighbor deserve the same fate?

I ran towards the house and broke into the door of our neighbor’s house, there were three wolves enjoying torturing her before killing her !!

Their alpha leader looked at me sarcastically while the other jumped to block the escape route

The law of the wolves is clear in that case, whoever opposes a wolf and prevents him from his prey deserves death:

But I saw him again, the same wolf who killed my mother and met him in the market, his black shiny eyes that attract you to them to swallow you

I screamed I will not let you kill her like my parents, then I was young and could not resist you, but now I will stop you

As if he did not believe what was stopping him, he approached me with his giant body that was towering over me, this little girl wants to fight me boys and the wolf laughed sarcastically.

Maybe I should teach her a lesson and make her join her parents, my neighbor was curled up on herself, clinging to the wall and her whole body was trembling

And my body stiffened with fear when he touched me, his touch that penetrated my depths

Then he hit me with his leg, I fell to the ground, he pinned me with his claws and brought his long teeth to me and bit my neck, then a crushing air rose from the empty road that made the wolves flinch and run away

The blood was flowing from my neck like a waterfall when I staggered towards the balcony and saw him that wolf standing under the house looking at me and then disappeared

Then I lost consciousness

My neighbor the nurse managed to stop the bleeding and bandaged the wound, I slept in her house until dawn and she was sitting next to me watching me with fear, but I woke up in good condition, my neighbor asked me to help me get to my aunt’s house but I refused, I said to her I helped you and now it’s your turn to help me, if anyone asks you about me you will say you never met me

I disappeared in my neighbor’s house until night fell, then I said goodbye to her and headed towards the forest.

I ran in the first path that I met in the middle of the huge trees until I penetrated into the forest, and the forest swallowed me again, and I did not know the time, inside the forest there is no difference between night and day, the darkness surrounds everything

And the forest was quiet, I did not meet any animal in it and I did not even see a bird fluttering in the sky, but my body began to collapse and I felt it abandon me

There was an empty paved road between the trees I cut it with weakness and staggered until I heard the sound of water gurgling, before I reached the spring I lost consciousness.

I woke up inside a wooden hut, lying on a bed of leaves and a fire burning next to me

The weather inside the forest is very cold that makes your body shiver with every gust of wind

I could not stand and when I tried to leave the hut I fell to the ground

And I saw her running towards me, a wolf Pup with a thin body until she reached me.

The idea that my life was over and that she would eat me, but the pup turned into an old woman who appeared in front of me, she was beautiful white with sharp green eyes and her hair was invaded by gray

She stared at me for a long time and examined me, then she said, what brought you here?

Don’t you know that entering the forest is forbidden for humans?

I said weakly, I will not give up my revenge, there is a wolf who killed my father and I will not return until I take my revenge

The wolf laughed, you are a weak and thin human how do you imagine that you will kill a wolf?

And I saw my mother’s look in her eye, I said help me please?

I will help you said the wolf, I will take you back to your home

I said no, you can kill me now but I will never go back to my aunt’s house, she is cruel and punishes me for the slightest mistake.

What is your name?

I said Peri

The wolf said, Peri, you will not be able to live here, the wolves will devour you

I said the wolves will not do anything because you will help me!

The wolf laughed, it is not that easy, I follow my alpha leader and I cannot help you on my own, my leader if he knows you are here I promise you he will devour you before you utter a word!

I said what is the solution?

She said you should head north until you cross the vast plains and reach the Tinker Mountains, disappear in a cave or a hole or a burrow and do not let any animal see you

I said sarcastically that’s it?

She said yes that’s it, and if you follow my advice there is a cave in the middle of the mountain, a large cave that grows to its inside a giant red Rebiska tree make this cave your home, then she took out a herb and asked me to eat it, if you meet any wolf by chance say Tika Boka Taka it is the greeting of the wolves then she screamed go away from here before you get me in trouble.

I ran towards the north as she ordered me and ran out of breath before I reached the blue plains but I continued to run until the Tinker Mountains

And I saw the cave she told me about, there was a giant Rebiska tree growing inside it

I climbed the sharp rocks for more than an hour until I reached the cave

I stayed here as the pup instructed me

But there was something that surprised me, the cave was ready for living, there was fruit and grilled food and a bed and pure water

I was so exhausted that I did not think about the danger, I ate until I was full and then threw myself on the bed and slept.

He leaped over the rocks with his huge body, his claws digging into the rocks despite their hardness

Between each leap he soared in the air like a bird, in his mouth a big fish he caught from the river to eat it after grilling it

He reached his den, his unique cave in five leaps, he always challenged himself to reduce the number of leaps that would take him to the  cave

At the door of the  cave he saw her lying on his bed, he felt angry and threw the giant fish from his mouth

What brought that miserable stupid creature to my cave? To lose her life

Doesn’t she know who I am?

Then he looked at her, thin, frail, weak, but beautiful, her soft hair was loose next to her, he would devour her in two bites

He approached her and heard her faint breaths, he looked at her childish face again and almost laughed her face was silly smiling even in her sleep, he restrained his anger for a moment, he left the fish next to her and jumped away from his cave towards the plains
